E poi ti svegli una mattina

e scopri che in città è scoppiata una nuova mania.

Ironica. 

Che è una celebrazione degli anni d'oro.

Quelli in cui, tra i primi banchi di scuola,

 sbocciavan i primi amori.

Quelli in cui non avevi ancora un look preciso e ti

affidavi ai (poco saggi) consigli della mamma.

Quelli in cui il guardaroba era

un trionfo di fiocchetti, merletti e color

rosa. Quelli che ora rinnegheresti con forza.

Eppure il 2012 è l'anno in cui

un pò tutte le mode tornano in voga.

E così, ecco che per le strade 

si vedon sfrecciare tante ragazze

con in mano delle borse che ricordano le 

tanto care cartelle che si usavan all'asilo.

Il nome tecnico è "satchel bag",
ossia borsa da portare al braccio.
Tra le varie proposte sul mercato spiccano
le rivisitazioni di Mulberry con tanto di pelle di bufalo,
la Proenza Shouler e
i modelli più economici proposti da Asos.

E voi, siete pronte a tornare ad indossare una cartella???

And so, here on the streets
many girls seen holding
bags that resemble
so dear folders that we used at school.
